Polk County, Florida -- The folks at nearby Bok Gardens have a night of fun and music lined-up for this weekend.

The "Concert Under the Stars" is an "evening of fun and inspiring performances Saturday, April 27 with our annual springtime Concert Under The Stars."

Is it Jazz? Folk? Bluegrass? Rock? Or a unique combination that becomes something completely fresh, new and original?

Lakeland, Florida-- The 2nd Annual Chalk for Charity Festival is happening in downtown Lakeland this Saturday!

Using chalk and liquid tempera as their medium and pavement as their canvas, professionals and novices will turn the streets of asphalt into an outdoor art display. The exhibitions will be located on Kentucky and Tennessee Avenues. 

The public will be able to purchase tokens to vote for their favorite art with prizes going to the entries receiving the most votes. Additionally, there will be a Professional Award presented.

Polk Co., FL-- Polk County History Center is celebrating the opening of its newest exhibit, “Spanish Pathways,” with a reception and lecture at 6 p.m. on Feb. 8.

The Spanish Pathways exhibit features Florida's Spanish legacy, explains a release about the upcoming evet.
