History Center to close temporarily for maintenance | Arts & Culture

Polk Co., FL-- The Polk County History Center will close for maintenance on Friday, December 2, and will remain closed through Tuesday, December 25.

According to the county, normal operating hours resume Wednesday, December 26.

Polk County History Center, located at 100 E. Main St. in Bartow, collects, preserves and documents items that are important to Polk County’s history and heritage.

These items are presented to the public through exhibitions and educational activities. 

Normal operating hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
