Golfers, Tee-it-up for a good cause this week! | Community Spirit

Bartow, FL -- Golfers and would-b duffers from around the region are invited to take part in the Achievement Academy's 13th Annual "Chip-In" For Children Golf Tournament.

It takes place this Friday, October 12 at Lone Palm Golf Club, which is located at 800 Lone Palm Drive in Lakeland.

Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m.

Organizers say through tournament play, sponsorship, and item donations, the money raised will be raised to help children with special needs receive the vital services they need to make progress.

Lunch will be provided by local restaurant vendors.

The Achievement Academy is a Pre-Kindergarten Charter School providing education and therapy services to children with developmental delays/disabilities in Polk County.

The Achievement Academy assists children with special needs to reach their maximum potential by providing quality education, therapy and family support.

It all starts at 11:30 a.m. and will likely go until 8 p.m.
