Lakeland, FL--The Junior League of Greater Lakeland (JLGL), in conjunction with the Learning Resource Center (LRC), will hold its “Ready to Read Fall Parent Night” for the students and parents of Crystal Lake Elementary School on Thursday, October 11 from 5 to 9 p.m.
The evening will host leading educators from the LRC, as they offer revolutionary literacy skills and skill-building activities in a workshop setting that will enable students to learn fundamental techniques necessary for reading. In addition, the JLGL will distribute books to each family that participates in the evening.
“JLGL is excited to have Ready to Read, for the second consecutive year, at Crystal Lake Elementary School. Our purpose for the evening is to provide invaluable parental information and tools on children’s literacy to the parents and students of Crystal Lake Elementary,” said JLGL President Coleen Pizzuti.
