New victim comes forward against teacher's aide | Crime

Lakeland, Florida -- Curtis Jiles, the teacher's aide at Tenoroc High School accused of hiring students for sex, is back in police custody just one day after his release after another victim came forward.

Detectives say the newest victim is a 15-year-old boy who was also a student at Tenoroc High School. The 9th grader's name came up during the on-going investigation into Jiles' alleged sexual encounters with students.

During an interview with the boy, he described how at the beginning of the school year he looked up to Jiles as a "father figure" but by the end of the year he felt uncomfortable around him because of sexual statements and requests he made.

The student explained how Jiles would call him "sexy chocolate", "dark chocolate" and his "baby daddy". Sometimes when the student wore baggy pants, Jiles would slap him on the butt and tell him to pull his pants up. One time, Jiles approached the boy outside his classroom and told him to show him his penis, which the boy refused to do. Jiles also told the student he would let him borrow money if he promised never to engage in sexual relations with a girl.

Jiles, who was out on bond for sexually related charges involving four students, was re-arrested Tuesday night for Lewd and Lascivious Conduct.

Sheriff Grady Judd says deputies will continue to follow up on possible victims of Jiles' "reprehensible behavior".
