Home Burglary suspects on the loose | Crime

Lakeland, Florida-- On monday, August 6 a residential burglary was caught on tape at a home on the 800 block of Harmony Hills Loop.

Officials say the surveillance camera within the home caught the two suspects on video as they attempted to enter the bedroom window without success. To get in, they shattered the rear, sliding glass door of the house.

A neighbor observed one of the suspects at the rear of the residence and yelled at him,  but reports say he fled east over a fence towards Amos Avenue.

Officials provided the following descriptions of the suspects:

Suspect 1:

• Black male
• 5’7” – 5’11”
• 140 – 150 lbs
• 14 – 18 years old
• With an "unkempt Mohawk hairstyle."
• "Wearing a short sleeve t-shirt with a large Nike swoosh and the words “Just do it”, and long basketball shorts with wide stripe on sides and white trim."

Suspect 2:

• Black male
• Slim build
• 5’5” – 5’9”
• "Wearing a white shirt and long dark shorts."
