Live in Polk County? May is the time to save at Legoland Florida

Winter Haven, Florida -- Splash and play for a lot less at Legoland Florida during some weekends in May if you live in Polk County.

During Polk County Residents' Days at the theme park, you can buy up to six tickets in advance for just $25. The tickets get you admission to both Legoland Florida and the Legoland Water Park.

Plus, a portion of each ticket sold goes toward helping children in Polk County.

Lakeland, FL - On Friday, April 19th, there will be a Free Green Celebration in honor of Earth Day with a concert & showcase at the Lake Mirror Promenade from 6 - 9:30 p.m.

There will be live music from the Sofa Kings along with a variety of exhibits promoting green living initiatives.

Lakeland, Florida - Mandy Patinkin is known to many for his T.V. and Movie roles. 

Remember "My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father prepare to die." from "The Princess Bride"? 

Patinkin also starred in CBS's Criminal Minds from 2005 to 2007, currently he's in the hit Homeland.

America's Got Talent Performance cancelled

Lakeland, FL - The Lakeland Center has announced the March 20th concert performance with America's Got Talent Live All-Stars Tour has been cancelled. 

Patrons who purchased tickets using a credit card will receive an automatic refund. Ticket holders who used cash or check for their ticket transaction will need to present tickets at The Lakeland Center Box during regular business hours to receive a refund. 

Service charges are not subject to refund.

Hit music, comedy show headed to Ritz on Central for Valentine's Edition

Winter Haven, Florida -- Tallahassee Nights Live, a stage show with a mix of musical genres and comedy, is returning to Polk County for a love-themed Valentine's Day edition.

A range of musical performances covers R&B, soul, hip hop, and more. Comedy and spoken word potions are also part of the show.

The original Tallahassee Nights Live is a monthly performance in the state capital. The show went on the road for the first time with a trip to Polk County last year.
