Teen shot in head at Lakeland home | News

Lakeland, Fla. -- Lakeland Police are investigating the shooting of a 17-year-old boy on Feb. 18. 

According to police, deputies arrived at the home at 1202 Jewel Avenue around 11:23 p.m. and found Daylon Oshae Easton on the living room couch with a gunshot wound to the head.  Deputies interviewed several people who were at the home during the time of the shooting, but no one could provide any information on what happened.

Easton remains in very critical condition at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.
