Lakeland, Florida - If you're one of the many many people who love the Publix deli, we have some good news.

Publix is launching an online site allowing people to place orders in advance, even as soon as 15 minutes before you reach the deli.

Starting August 3, Publix will test its online ordering at its Southgate Shopping Center location at 2515 S Florida Ave. in Lakeland. Customers will be able to order online or through their mobile device at www.publix.com/order for a specified pickup time.

At select locations, Publix will even have a computer set up in stores where you can place your order, walk around and shop and then go back and get your order.

Look for the new online ordering feature to rollout at all Publix locations later this year.
