Gallagher coming to Lakeland Center | News

Lakeland, Florida -- Comedian Gallagher is back and performing his special blend of comedy and hijinks during his Last Smash Farewell Tour at The Lakeland Center Saturday, Dec. 15 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets go on sale to the public Friday, Sept. 21 at 9:30 a.m. for $27.50, $33.50 and $50 (service charges will apply).

One of the fathers of "prop comedy," Gallagher is probably best known for his signature "Sledge-o-Matic" bit where he demolishes with great abandon watermelons and other objects with his trusty sledgehammer.

A man for all seasons, many fans may not be aware Gallagher received a degree in chemical engineering from the University of South Florida and is a hometown boy with roots in South Tampa.
