Authorities searching for CVS robbery suspect | News
LAKELAND, Florida -- Polk County sheriff's detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying an armed robbery suspect.
Deputies say the suspect went into the CVS store on U.S. Highway 98 North in Lakeland around 6:23 p.m. Saturday and went to the pharmacy. After making small talk with the technician, the suspect allegedly pulled out a small handgun and demanded prescription medication. The technician refused. The suspect then reportedly fled from the store heading east. A witness said he got into a small blue car, possibly a Honda.
The suspect is described as a white male, 5'10" to 6'0", 170-190 lbs., wearing a black beanie cap, blue and black plaid long-sleeved shirt, faded black jeans, and black shoes.
