Lakeland murder case on Discovery Channel Tuesday | News

Lakeland, FL - Tuesday the Discovery Channel will feature the 1994 case of Mary Peterson from Lakeland.

Peterson was found savagely stabbed in her bed. Investigators went through a lengthy list of possible suspects in Peterson's life but came up short on viable leads. 

And just when they thought the case was cooling off, a red-hot clue from a teenaged tipster lead detectives straight to the killer's doorstep.
