Motorcyclist killed in school bus crash, area lanes closed | News

Lakeland, Florida -- Polk County Sheriff's deputies are at the scene of a fatal crash involving a motorcycle and a school bus Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities say the crash happened just after 2 p.m. at Ranchland Drive and Rockridge Road.

The driver of the motorcycle was killed. None of the three people on the bus, which included two adults and a student, were injured.

The area has been completely blocked and motorists are advised to find alternate routes.
