Black History Month honors with great food | News

Bartow, Florida -- Great food for a great cause takes on a historic flair this weekend.

Bartow residents and folks from all over are invited to the 10th Annual Gourmet Gents, sponsored by National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. and Polk County Chapter Gentlemen of Distinction, will offer their culinary expertise for a food tasting.

The affair will raise funds that will benefit young ladies that participate in the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., Polk County Chapter mentoring program.

It all takes place this Sunday, February 24, between 2 p.m -  4 p.m. at the Lake Eva Banquet Hall, 799 Johns Avenue in Haines City.
